Introduction to The Platform

I have founded this during lockdown in the UK when well-being seems to be most vital. The Platform is here to bring good things into your life. The phrase "a step to better living" highlights the aim of this space; to help you in some way, even if it is only a little. As individuals we all face challenges and grow differently; but one thing we do have in common is that we are all human. Life throws curve balls and we need to help each other continue in the most joyful ways we can. I will be researching certain topics using mainly research journals to ensure the reliability of the information I provide. The articles will not just be uplifting pieces of writing but they will be filled with logical and sound advice from my personal experiences and the experiences of others.

The Platform was originally an instagram page where I shared the things I loved such as fashion, photography and wellness inspiration. But I decided I could do so much more with it and make a bigger difference, even if it is just to one person. The articles are going to be surrounding well-being, here are some titles you will be seeing: why being good with your finances can help your mental health, exercise - discovering what is right for you, food and drinks to change your mood (for the better), how bitterness is ruining your life. This is only a taste of what is to come. Alongside this, I want this to be an informative space. Some of the articles will be focusing on informing people on the research I find while others will be to inspire. Inform and inspire, that's the aim. This space will also share other businesses, people and platforms you may wish to support or look to for further information. The person you are is influenced by the things you consume whether that's music, media, the words of others, the shows we watch etc. Let this be one of the good things you consume. Join the community and support each other - follow @theplatform0 on instagram for snippets of content to come and interaction. Use #theplatform when engaging in any well-being activities. OH and do not forget, DM's on @theplatform0 are always open (there will also be an article on other people and places you can contact in times of need).

Have a good day:)
